It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world

Sometimes I wonder what the world is coming to. First there was the whole waxing incident, and now this.

Since when did daily hormone injections and scans take the stress out of trying to get pregnant?!?

For the love of g*d! IVF isn't a lifestyle choice for celebrities who are "too impatient" to try and conceive a child through good, old-fashioned, loving sex, or who just want to "knock out" two babies in one go, so they can reach their target number of kids. It is a MEDICAL treatment, which was developed to help those with MEDICAL conditions.

No wonder we have to keep spelling it out.

ain't that the truth. it's a DIS-EASE people. something that is not right or easy. or convenient or stress-free. or always successful! no wonder we have to keep spelling it out indeed. argh.

So frustrating. I can't count how many times I've had to explain to friends and family that IVF is not an easy procedure with a guaranteed outcome. This kind of thing only serves to spread the misinformation.

Donner wetter, that "source" should be summarily fired and run out of Hollywood on a rail. I'm proud of Angelina for not pulling a J-Lo, but why, oh why, can't people understand the most basic information about IVF? It's all hoodoo and career bitches in powersuits every time it's mentioned. It's like you can just phone in an order for IVF takeout or something. "Oh yes, and with a side of ICSI, please."

People are stupid, at least the ones that believe "Us."

GRRRRR......I loved Shinejil's comment about the takeout!!!

It's just too absurd ...

They make it sound like you can just run down to your doctor's office one afternoon and have an IVF done and get pregnant. The celebrity media, once again, is a real big F'ing help.

Makes you wonder (among other things), How the bloody H do so many celebrities manage to get TWO when so many of us regular ART-using girls can't even get ONE?

My bitter answer is that many of them probably don't need ART -- they're just impatient and decide to "knock it out." I'll have to think about my not-so-bitter answer and get back to you another time. :)

Totally absurd, either if it is true and they were just impatient or if they actually had fertility issues and don't want to admit it. I'm completely sick of Brangelina and I wish they would just stop having children so people would shut up about them.
